Poultries are somewhat omnivorous and voraciously opportunistic. They'll consume anything from grain to bugs, and even animal items depending on how small the pieces are. Additionally, they call for a diverse variety of nutrients in order to not only lay eggs but lay eggs that are nutritionally dense.
Chick starter and grower feed- These feeds are packed with calories - specifically from healthy protein - to help your chicks grow swiftly, strengthening their immune systems and boosting their overall health and wellness. Grower feed is vital for suitable weight and rapid development for robust, healthy poultries.
Layer feed- Perfectly balanced for healthy chickens laying eggs on a regular basis, layer feed has a various nutritional structure that consists of more calcium to stimulate proper egg production in newly laying chickens.
Flock raiser- This feed provides well balanced nutrition when you have a blended flock of chickens. Flock raiser feeds wonderful, basic nutrition to all manner of chickens without the optimized micronutrient profiles of the other types of feed. Simply put, it's just simpler to use and still provides excellent nutrition.
Crumble and pellets- Poultries tend to like little pellets and crumble to larger pieces of food - they're merely less complicated to consume! Crumble is often the primary presentation of flock raiser food, as it's easy for chicks and poultries alike to consume and digest.
Shell grit- Included in layer feed, shell grit has two purposes - one, it helps the gizzard break down food properly, and 2, it adds extra calcium to your chicken's diet. Calcium is needed for correct nutrition regardless, but it's specifically vital for egg-laying hens.
Corn- Cracked corn isn't a great feed - it's calorie-dense but not big on nutrition. No matter, it's a nice treat for your poultries, it's rather inexpensive and in a pinch, it can be used to feed your poultries if you've got nothing else handy.

Even though my purchase was available online, i chose to support the community and try this local brick/mortar store. I'm very glad i did. Everybody was helpful. Service was quick. Prices were good. And, i found out they support local pet adoption groups and are hosting a "big event" on Sunday September 26th, 2021. Home delivery is even available. Nice!
